。松下幸之助さんは、新入社員の面接試験で、よくこんな質問をしていたそうです。実は、この質問の答えによって、採用・不採用を決めていたと言うのです。

質問：「君はこれまで運がいい方でしたか？ それとも運が悪い方でしたか？」

結果、「とても運が良かったです」と答えた学生は「合格！」になり、「運がいい方ではありません」と答えた学生は「不合格」になりました。その理由は、「運が良かったという人は、周りの人に助けられてきたという『感謝』の気持ちのある人で、たとえ逆境に陥っても、（運のせいにせず）前向きに取り組める人物だ」と判断していたからです。松下幸之助さん自身、「私は運が良かったから成功した」とよく言っていたそうです。
